Shellac Romantique

I tried shellac for the first time last night, so far I like it but I don't think the colour suits my skin tone.

Wore my hair out today for the first time in ages. My little one likes to grab fistfuls so it's usually easier to wear it in a high bun. Even used my curling iron that was gathering dust.

Pretty Pastels

Saw these in my local Terry White today, couldn't believe they had the new collection! Usually it is really hard to find locally. Couldn't help myself and bought 7 of the 8!

The only one I didn't buy was the bright pink, I have too many similar ones already.
Lily White and Earl Grey are from earlier collections but I haven't ever been able to find them so I'm glad they've been released with this collection too.

Essence 86 A Lovely Secret

When I first applied this colour I thought I was going to have a tonne of trouble with it, the first layer was super sheer. I thought it would be at least 5 coats to make opaque. But in 3 coats it had a fabulous coverage. While I would prefer it to be 2 coats only, I'm realistic that it's a $2 nail polish! I love love love the colour! I can't stop staring at my nails!

Pop of Colour

I was pleasantly surprised to see some new colours in the Essence nail polish range today in Target. There were a few other new products to replace the discontinued ones but I'll have to go back and have a better look when I have more time.
