One Dimension

The blog has become a bit one dimensional. I do apologise but unfortunately there is going to be more of the same. I'm really enjoying fashion and shopping at the moment and I love using the blog as a diary of sorts, flicking back through to see what works and what doesn't.

I have been eyeing off this Country Road trench coat for quite some time. It feels so nice and heavy weight unlike other trenches, I can imagine it being quite warm for Winter. A little out of my price range but cardholders 20% off one day only made the deal a little sweeter.

I had to take a few things back to Witchery because their sizing is so off. The long sleeve stripe sweat that I posted about earlier was so big even in an XS that I couldn't wear it. So back it went. I also needed a reason to buy some leather leggings. An exchange made it a little easier. The dress is so pretty but I ummed and ahhed over it as the weather is due to cool down a fair bit but I do have a few events coming up, hopefully the nice sunny days hang around for a little longer.

This bedding set has been near impossible to find, the Real Living Dotty set released in Target stores nationally. It never even made the shelves at any store close to me and was supposed to be available online. It was on the front cover of Real Living magazine. It frustrates me to no end when something is promoted and then unavailable. Target is guilty of this with almost every catalogue they release. Due to go on sale for 2 weeks from Thursday, sold out on the website by 9am Thursday morning and remains sold out for the duration of the sale. Is this a marketing ploy or are they really that unorganised to make sure there is enough stock to handle a sale? I have been on the waiting list for this bedding set for over a month with barely an email to let me know what's happening, when I happened to spot (excuse the pun) a lonely set on the shelf at my local store. That is how I finally got my mitts on this coveted set.

Now I just need the European pillow cases....

Shoes & Shopping

I think the quality of Tony Bianco shoes is pretty good, but the price of them has really jumped in the last few years. Their sale prices are usually excellent so I try to hold out!

Finally got around to spending my birthday vouchers!

Shellac Romantique

I tried shellac for the first time last night, so far I like it but I don't think the colour suits my skin tone.

Wore my hair out today for the first time in ages. My little one likes to grab fistfuls so it's usually easier to wear it in a high bun. Even used my curling iron that was gathering dust.

Mouse Flats!

I was alerted to the fact that My Wardrobe had the infamous Marc by Marc Jacobs Mouse Flats in Leopard Patent on sale and there was an extra 20% off sale items! A quick click and they were on their way to me! Shipping was super fast and they arrived this morning!

Called into Kmart for a little looksie, they have some pretty floral pants for only $19! I didn't buy them as I'm trying to not buy as much clothing wise but if I'm still thinking about them in a few days I might go back for them! They had these 'That's Not My' books 3 for $15, that is a really good price, RRP is around $15 each usually! I got these 3 for my boys

And finally here is my outfit for today.

Crazy Time!

These days most retailers start their Boxing Day sales before Christmas. I think it's a good idea because the  madness that is caused by people flooding the shops the day after Christmas is crazy! Forever New currently has 50% off the marked down price of their sale stock. I was after a dress to wear on Christmas Day and I found one! Down to $35.00 from $80.00.

Also grabbed these. Dress was $30.00, jeans were $20.00.

Sportsgirl also has new sale stock so I got this skirt that I almost bought a while back for $39.95.
Hopefully have some outfit posts coming up starring these new purchases!

Key Lime Pie

Today I'm meeting the other bridesmaids and the bride to try on the bridesmaid dresses. The bride chose this one from Sheike

I have tried it on previously and I LOVE it! The bride hasn't seen it in real life, only online, so we are all going together today to make sure it's 'the one'. I really hope she loves it because it is stunning, suits everyone's body shape and fits in so well with her dress and the theme.

My outfit for today is a little bright but I love it! So summery :)

Summer Sandals

I love wearing sandals in Summer, they tend to make a casual outfit a little dressier without compromising comfort. Witchery had 25% off all shoes last week so I managed to pick up 2 pairs for $60 each.

No pic of the other pair on the website, but they are tan and coral t-bar sandals.

Also grabbed these from Forever New, on sale for $34.95 with an additional 50% off - grand total of $17.47!

I also like the the look of these Sportsgirl sandals so I might go in store this week and try them on.

Sportsgirl

I go through phases and become obsessed with a particular brand/shop/website and at the moment it's Sportsgirl. I especially like their fitted skirts. Probably why I've bought 3 in the last week lol and I have my eye on a few more!
