Hammer Time

A few outfits from the past week that I haven't had time to blog about until now!

Top: Valley Girl, Pants: Ally, Sandals: Pulp, Necklace: Kmart

Top: Kmart, Jeans: Target (have a really subtle leopard print!), Heels: Target

Top: Valley Girl, Skirt: Country Road, Sandals: Pulp, Necklace: Diva

I've been a bit disappointed with this Country Road skirt. I thought it would have been quite versatile but I'm struggling to find tops to go with it.

Lips: Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart

My hair is looking pretty drab at the moment. I'm trying to grow it out until my sister in laws wedding then after that I'll get a pretty big chop. In the meantime I decided to DIY ombre in an attempt to blend my roots a bit without causing any more damage.

Goldwell Colorance Mousse in 6N Dark Blonde

I'm really quite happy with the result! Will only last a few washes but makes it look shinier and healthier. I usually tend to go a bit darker in the Winter and this is a really easy at home colour. No ammonia or bleach = no damage! And only temporary so if you don't like it, it washes out after a few weeks.

Mouse Flats!

I was alerted to the fact that My Wardrobe had the infamous Marc by Marc Jacobs Mouse Flats in Leopard Patent on sale and there was an extra 20% off sale items! A quick click and they were on their way to me! Shipping was super fast and they arrived this morning!

Called into Kmart for a little looksie, they have some pretty floral pants for only $19! I didn't buy them as I'm trying to not buy as much clothing wise but if I'm still thinking about them in a few days I might go back for them! They had these 'That's Not My' books 3 for $15, that is a really good price, RRP is around $15 each usually! I got these 3 for my boys

And finally here is my outfit for today.

Raaarrr!!!

So today was party day! And now I am exhausted! As per usual I have hardly any photos because I was too busy setting up and chatting. Managed to take a few quick outfit photos when we got home.
Dress: Witchery, Necklace: Diva, Sandals: Witchery, Ring: Lovisa

The cakes went down well although overall I was disappointed with them. The cupcakes ended up being a rush job but turned out ok. They were chocolate with a cookies and cream icing and a whole Oreo baked into the base.
The dinosaur cake was a hit but melted a fair bit. I didn't get a good photo of it today but I took some as I was making it.
About to go in the oven
Freshly baked
 Carved
 Finished!

Can't wait to crawl into bed now!

A Few Things

As promised, here's a few pics of the things I've picked up in the sales so far.

Colette have 50% off all jewellery:

Colette everything pictured $6.48 each

Diva have a sale on but I bought this full price after wanting it for ages:

Diva necklace $29.95

Target have a pretty good stocktake sale on, with 50% off all women's jewellery, I saw these exact earrings in Sportsgirl and almost bought them for $12.95:

Target earrings $7.50

Forever New have a further 30% off sale stock:

Forever New ankle boots $38.47

Temt didn't seem to have a sale but I spotted these gorgeous jeans at full price:

Temt jeans $14.95 each

I had a credit note for Bardot that needed to be used up and I wanted something I could wear after bub is born:

Bardot Raiders Legging $69.95

I don't ever really go into Jeanswest, it's just not my kind of store. But they were having 40% off storewide including sale stock so I grabbed this:

Jeanswest Square Cardigan $18.00 (image via www.jeanswest.com.au)

The last thing I bought was a pair of shoes for the little mister. It's very hard to find shoes for an 18 month old, they need to have grippy soles as my son loves to run. Size 4 seems to be the hardest to find always!

Pumpkin Patch high tops $23.99

Please keep me posted on your own bargain buys!
