Feeling very uninspired to post outfit shots lately. Every day is pretty much the same thing so I might take a little break until after bub has arrived and I can fit into some normal clothes again!
My obstetrician appointment yesterday went well but she is a little worried about bub being a bit small so I have to have a scan next week to double check all is ok. I'm not worried as the same thing happened with bub #1 and he was born a healthy 6 pounds 15 ounces. Small chance I could be induced early but won't know until after the scan.
Not much else happening around here! Just getting a few bits and pieces ready for the new arrival. A few bargain buys here and there that I'll post about when I remember to take some photos! Also planning on dyeing my hair over the next few days so will blog about the process and the success/failure lol
Loving all the stocktake/mid-year sales starting! Even if I can't buy much I still love browsing! If you see any great sales that I should know about, leave me a comment!

Pop of Colour
I was pleasantly surprised to see some new colours in the Essence nail polish range today in Target. There were a few other new products to replace the discontinued ones but I'll have to go back and have a better look when I have more time.
Really loving the pastel colours in the shops at the moment but it seems so odd given that winter is only just about to start!

Oroton Tote
I bought the Mimco Zetta Nappy Bag for my first bub. It was good at first but because of all of the pockets I could never find anything. It was also an awkward layout so it was hard to grab things in a hurry. I ended up not using it for very long. This time around I just wanted a tote bag, something big with one big pocket and everything within easy reach. I was going to just get something cheap to get me by but after being alerted to the Oroton outlet sale online I couldn't help myself!
The dimensions of the tote bag are 45w x 31h x 9d cm, seems like it will be big enough to carry around all the stuff I'll need for a newborn! After a while I'll probably just go back to using a regular handbag but the tote will always be handy for shopping etc.
I also grabbed the beauty case as I have been looking for something like this for a while.
I'm not thrilled however at the disclaimer on the Oroton website about shipping. Up to 10 working days to process the order and another 7-10 to ship! Seems ridiculous when I'm not overseas or anything! Hopefully it doesn't actually take that long but we'll see.

Whoops I totally forgot to do a Mothers Day post! We had a nice but rushed day, I got breakfast in bed, then ducked over to my mum's for morning tea, then lunch with my husbands mum.
Had a nice day but hopefully one year I can just hang out at home with my boys :)

Brrrrr!
Things have been a bit miserable here the last few days. All three of us have had a cold, hence the lack of blog posts! Was supposed to attend a lovely high tea yesterday but I missed out because I was just too sick. Actually starting to feel a bit better now thank goodness! The weather has been crazy, hot and 26 degrees then cold and windy the next day. I don't ever remember the weather being as weird as this before?!
I wore my coral ASOS maternity jeans for the first time a few days ago. About 20 minutes after putting them on I noticed a loose thread under the zipper. Upon closer inspection I discovered a hole about an inch long! Off they came and back to ASOS! I didn't want to risk the same thing with the other pairs so I've also sent back the cornflower blue and the leopard ones. I'm really disappointed because I thought I was set for winter but I'll just stick with my Jeanswest maternity jeans instead. And I'll keep the red ASOS jeans because I've already worn them but I'll need to check over them every time I wear them just in case!
So back to the drawing board for an outfit to wear to my sister in law's engagement party! I'm now officially a bridesmaid (yay!) so I'd like to look as nice as I can, but at 38 and a half weeks pregnant it will be hard! The dress code is smart casual and it will be pretty cold so I'm thinking layering is the way to go. This is quite a mean feat when pregnant as you can easily start to look a lot bigger than you actually are.
I've bought this shirt to wear from Forever New:
It sits really nicely over the bump, I just hope there is room enough for me to grow a little bit more!
I really wanted this gilet to wear over the top:
But my local store doesn't have it in stock (apparently never got it at all). I've emailed head office to see if it can be transferred from another store but I'm not holding my breath. And I'm having trouble finding something similar elsewhere so I may have to change my outfit plan again!
Well that was quite a rambly post haha, should be back to normal posting any day now :)

Snow Leopard
I paid extra for ASOS express shipping but I didn't hold much hope in my parcel arriving very fast because of some other feedback I've read. I placed my order last Thursday night and it came this morning! Is that even possible from the UK??
After wearing my red ones all day yesterday they had stretched so much that they were almost unwearable :( we don't have a dryer so I can't shrink them that way. I think the size smaller would be too small. These ones however are cut slightly differently. They were much tighter to do up and they're a bit more fitted through the leg. They're also a bit shorter which is good for me. Overall I'm happy with the leopard ones!

Phew!
My ASOS order came yesterday, consisting of the 3 pairs of maternity jeans I posted about earlier. Being pregnant has made it hard to know exactly what size I am as most maternity sizing allows for growth but I have also put a lot of weight on so it was a pure gamble if they would fit or not. Thankfully they are perfect!
The blue ones are a great colour, pretty much the same as the website. The other 2 pairs have me a little distressed. The red is a lot lighter and the coral a lot darker than on the website - which makes them almost identical! The above photo shows a fair amount of difference but in daylight they are almost the same :( Trying to decide whether to send one pair back and if so, which ones!
Because the fit is so good I bit the bullet and bought these:

I had to take some things back to Cotton On so I exchanged them for these:
They were 2 pairs for $50.00. I like the grey but I'm not sure about the tan. On my way out I spotted these:
Now I'm having second thoughts about my purchase. I'll mainly wear them with my new coloured jeans and the leopard ones, so I thought grey would be best but now I don't know which ones I like better! What should I do??

A Cut and a Rant
I had my hair cut today, I decided to bite the bullet and go back to my regular hairdresser. No photos yet because they did a terrible blow dry job so I will have to wash it and dry it again before I post a pic.
After today I have decided to find a new hairdresser. I have had the same hairdresser for 6 years. She is quite well known and travels a lot for fashion week. I gave them one last shot to get things right. My haircut took 2 hours. TWO HOURS!!! Actually, my haircut took 5 minutes, all the bullsh*t surrounding the haircut is what took so long. Mainly just waiting and waiting for someone to actually do something. For the first time I felt like I was unimportant because it was just a cut.
Does anyone else not like the scalp massages? I used to get my scalp bleached and was always horrified when I was then given a head massage. I sure love being super dizzy with a burning scalp and then have you pour hot water on AND rub your fingers into my tender scalp!!! Today there was no scalp bleaching but I had the weirdest experience - I'm talking big man fingers all over my cheeks, forehead, eyebrows and eyelids, basically all over my face! I was so paranoid about my make up being so totally smooshed!! It was so strange and I was too embarrassed to say anything.
Needless to say I was almost crying when I walked out - the worst part is that I had to pay for the experience, and a small fortune at that!

Today marks a sad day. My wedding rings officially don't fit anymore! Will have to look for a nice chain to wear them on for the next few months :(
I saw these on ASOS today, while not everyone's cup of tea I love them! Wouldn't be game to wear them pregnant though. Might have to check out the Kmart bargain $19 ones for post pregnancy!
